Twenty people were arrested by the Tennessee Highway Patrol this past Tuesday morning for allegedly using fraudulent documents to get jobs at a Memphis logistics company in southeast Memphis.

A Highway Patrol spokesman said Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were also on the scene.

We do not know the exact details about the event, but we do know twenty undocumented Immigrants were arrested for using fake identification to get jobs at a local warehouse and distribution business, and that staffing agencies have been accepting low-quality fake identification to hire Immigrants because it allows them to get cheap labor.

Did those who had the fake identification know they had this status? Did they intentionally pursue fake identification?

Did the staffing agencies intentionally hire undocumented Immigrants with fake identification?

There is a lot of unanswered questions, but we are monitoring the situation and will publish an article in response to what has occurred when we know everything.
