As we enter into Memorial Day Weekend, I want to list some staggering statistics on Immigrant who have and continue to serve in the armed forces in the United States. Immigrants have been, for a long time, people who have loved the United States so much they have given their life not because they have to, but because they love this country.

  • 179,000 Immigrants serve in the armed forces today.
  • 5,000 immigrants join the armed forces each year.
  • 511,000 immigrant Veterans live in the US.
  • 900 DACA Recipients serve in the armed forces. Thankful for Immigrants and their service in the armed forces.

This Memorial Day Weekend let us be thankful for the U.S. Citizens who have given their life, but also for Immigrants who have given their life and serve in the Armed Forces.

The immigration Project inspires the Church to view Immigration and love Immigrants the way God intended.
