A quick summary of last week’s progress on a legislative solution for Dreamers:
- Legislation to help Dreamers, including the Dream Act and the Recognizing America’s Children (RAC) Act, continues to pick up Republican co-sponsors.
- Senator Tillis (R-NC) is expected to introduce a Senate version of the RAC Act this week.
- House Speaker Paul Ryan formed a working group of Republicans and tasked them with finding a solution for Dreamers that the House GOP conference can support.(Adapted from the National Immigration Forum)
